Barney and Kay Arthur purchased the Rutt-n-Strutt River Ranch in 1996 as family recreation and hunting land. In 1998, Barney built a gorgeous rustic log and rock home on the property as a weekend getaway and in 2001 decided to make the Rutt-N-Strutt River Ranch their permanent residence where they raised their beautiful niece, Katy.
This ranch has been a true blessing to our family and friends and we are excited to open it up to the public! We have so much fun riding four wheelers and ATVs on our trails and the river, hiking up and down our beautiful small mountain side, fishing in the ponds and river, swimming, kayaking, bird watching, star gazing, and sometimes just relaxing while sitting and watching the breathtaking morning sunrises and the evening sunsets.
There are many different kinds of wildlife to see at the Rutt-N-Strutt such as whitetail deer, turkey, wild hogs, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, armadillos, bald eagles, red-tail hawks, a huge variety of birds, coyotes and occasional cougars traveling up and down the river.
We want people of all ages to come and experience the breathtaking and exhilarating fun of the Rutt-N-Strutt River Ranch and the Canadian River.
We hope to see you soon!
Barney and Kay Arthur
